This Iyengar Yoga workshop will look at the anatomy of the shoulder complex, how it relates to Asana, and how to manage shoulder challenges through Asana.

Emma McGurn

Emma has been teaching Iyengar yoga since 2008, gaining her Junior Intermediate 1 certificate in 2019.

She continues to study with Senior teachers to improve her own practice and develop her teaching skills. As an Advanced Practice Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, she has a high level of understanding of how the body works which she applies to her yoga practice and teaching.

Frances Mckee

Frances has been teaching yoga since 1997! That year she headed off to the Pune Institute in India to study with the Iyengar family. Her dedication to the practice has been life changing and she is grateful every single day to have discovered the benefits of yoga. Life is an unfolding and undulating journey but yoga has been the catalyst that has given her the tools to navigate the path. . Her passion is to make yoga accessible to everyone and to meet the needs of her students so that they too can discover the benefits of a yoga practice.

This is a general workshop suitable for those who attend beginners, general or intermediate classes.

Cost is £30 for iYoga Glasgow members, £40 for non-members.
